It is 2040. This roleplaying serious game takes place the Municipality of Waterdam, a predominantly agricultural municipality situated in a low-lying polder landscape, where potato farmers, water managers, residents, and local authorities must navigate increasing drought, heat, and extreme rainfall.

The game has four interconnected elements woven into the gameplay experience: compound events, compound stress, (non)collaboration, and science-society interface. During the gameplay, each player is faced with a myriad of decisions where consequences or benefits arise as the game progresses.

What will happen to the potato farmers? Will there be potatoes at the end of the year?
